Dakota U.S. Senator Tim Johnson will hold a press conference on Country of
Origin Labeling (COOL) to discuss the intent and purpose of the legislation.
Senator Johnson was the original author of the COOL legislation that was passed
into law with the 2002 Farm Bill.
Cattle
associations participating in the press conference with Senator Johnson will
be: R-CALF USA, South Dakota Livestock Auction Markets Association, South
Dakota Stockgrowers Association.
All
members of the press are invited to attend and participate in the conference.
